Carbon Footprinting & Sustainability Support for Frieze London and Frieze Masters Art Fairs 2018 - 2024.
Frieze is a leading global contemporary art organisation, renowned for its art fairs, publications and digital presence. As a major event organiser, Frieze recognises that their fairs rely on activities that have an impact on their surrounding environment and that they have a collective obligation to minimise these impacts.
In order to baseline their impacts, Frieze engaged our support in 2018 and have continued to work with us to measure progress towards these targets.
Through annual carbon footprint measurement, Frieze identified waste as a critical area requiring action under the Galleries Climate Coalition (GCC) targets. This led to an extended collaboration with Hope Solutions to implement on site waste managers and assess waste processes to identify further initiatives to engage key personnel, reduce waste, and improve resource efficiency.
